What I Eat on A Busy Day

 What I Eat On A 'Busy-Day'

It's not always possible to stand in the kitchen to cook yourself at every meal.

And yet; Fueling your body for success is the most important thing you can do for yourself.

So, this is what I eat when I simply 'don't have the time.'

Avocado Rice Cakes topped with Everything Bagel Seasoning and Red Pepper Flakes

For breakfast, we're off to a powerful start. Quick & Easy; No need for even a toaster!

Just use rice cakes, lightly spray them with olive oil. Dice up about half an avocado for the top of the rice cakes. Then, Season with 'Everything Bagel Seasoning' & Chili Pepper Flakes.

This meal is packed with  healthy-fats & some protein to keep you alert for hours.

If your morning is going to include a lot of moving around and physical activity; try whey protein in your coffee or a boiled egg for an extra-boost!

Sliced Cucumber, Triscuits & Turkey-Pepperoni with Hummus Dip
This feels like more of a quick snack than an actual lunch because it's so easy!
This 'Lunch' consists of Triscuits, Turkey-Pepperoni Slices, Hummus and a Cucumber.

In this meal we're looking at some additional proteins, fiber and nutritional value.

**Feel free to add more variety to the veggies to get even more nutrition which is imperative for healthy brain function. Can't be feeling groggy for that afternoon meeting!

Canned Lentil Soup from Aldi, Naan Bread, Mandarin Oranges & Water
Dinner-time comes around and it's back to the grind; after a couple hour-break at the park with my son (my whole reason for working from home in the first place <3)

For Dinner I'm going to heat up a can of lentil-soup, toast some naan and snack on some mandarin oranges. This took almost zero effort to put together. It's delicious and satisfying so that I can be back to work in no-time.

**Don't forget to drink water all day in-between those caffeine breaks!

Late-NIght Snack: Frozen Berries, Unsweetened Almond-Milk, Whey Protein Powder; Topped with Chia Seeds

By the nighttime, I'm finally getting wrapped up at-work and I'm ready for a light nutritional snack while I listen to music and do a few final-projects.

This is a power-smoothie with frozen mixed-berries, unsweetened almond-milk, strawberry whey-protein powder and topped with chia seeds.

I also found myself snacking on a few more oranges this evening. They're just as tasty as the fruit snacks I used to steal from the toddler-snack jar but they're way more nutritionally valuable than artificial sugars.

I hope you enjoyed eating-through an entire day with me! Please share with your friends if you found this helpful :)
