Toddler-Friendly Indoor Games Pt.1

Toddler-Friendly Indoor Games

1.) Letters & Ice

This is an easy one to throw together, and sure to be a hit with your little-one(s).

I like to find a clear container (plastic is safer, but a glass Pyrex will work as long as you will be present to keep a watchful eye.) Fill the container with a couple of trays of ice and a handful of small, easy to handle toys.
I chose to use magnet-letters because they were close at hand and easy to clean.

Using the ice provides an intriguing sensory experience!

2.) Flat-Sheet Fort

Another of our easy to clean-up favorites. A simple flat-sheet over the dining table turns a normal day into an exciting secret-fort adventure!

Personally, we enjoy bringing our wooden train-tracks to our 'party under the dining room table!'

3.) Balloons from the ceiling

I pick up extra packs of balloons every time we're at the Dollar Tree for this game.

We like to blow up 3-4 Balloons and put them on long strings. Then, we create an obstacle course on the couch by hanging the balloon strings from the ceiling above the couch; using tape. Pro Tip: Space the balloons at least 3' apart so they won't get tangled.

Always stay nearby to avoid any trouble with the strings!

Bonus: This also occupies our busy-pittie for hours on end, lol.
