Things to get you out of the house; With a Toddler
The weather is finally improving; You're ready to get out of the house with your little one...
But to where? What to do with our high-energy little friends?

1.) Go to your local Children's Museum.
In close proximity to our home in Delaware County, PA is the 'Please Touch Museum.' We loved it so much we purchased an annual-pass so that we can come back anytime we like. Annual-passes are a great way to save money. Especially if you plan to go to these places often.
We'll typically visit a museum or the zoo with our passes about twice a month. Which very quickly pays for itself.
2.) FREE Museum Passes from your local library
If you haven't already, this is a great opportunity to check out your local library.
Many libraries have Free Museum Passes available to 'check-out'
At our local library, all we need to do is call the library on the day we intend to visit the museum. The librarian will put the passes on hold for us; we'll go pick them up and have a fun family outing for FREE! (Typically, you need to return the museum passes to the library within 48 hours.)
3.) Free Events For Kids
Speaking of libraries, there are tons of programs and activities for little ones at your local library or community center nearby.
Our local library typically hosts a Free Story Time event that you per-register for online.
In the nice weather, our library also offers a Free Activity Time; designed to help toddlers learn to follow simple instructions in a 'classroom' setting to prepare them from preschool or kindergarten.
