Life has a funny way of sending us curve balls right when we think we’ve got things all figured out. I had just spent 2 years being sick and looking to my doctors for answers when I came across my dream health-coach (Tabitha Hammercheek; @tabitha_hammercheck on Instagram)
I had lost 12lbs in my first few weeks; and gained a new perspective on self-care. It’s also worth mentioning that I was able to greatly reduce my hip/knee/back pain so much that I began to get better sleep at night.
Then, a mental-health crisis in my immediate family.
‘Boss Bih’ culture has lead us to believe that we are somehow ‘less than’ if we can’t continue to hustle during the hardest parts of our lives.
While it’s true that life never stops happening even for the ‘Boss-est’ among us.
Sometimes, we have to set down all of our personal goals to help lift someone else. Through such difficult and heart breaking times, we find our strengths and build our characters.
Now that we’re all settling into our ‘Newer, Healthier Normal;’ Life has decided to set turmoil back into my life to test my strength.
In the face of our most recent crisis, the time has come for me to come back to my hustle to help further or financial goals.
If you’re able to help us reach those goals; you can find handmade items in my Etsy: https://etsy.me/3mcD2aL
